These are some photographs I shot in Haiti the early 1970's. I had planned to put them on my site before the disastrous earthquake this last week. I thought about it for a few days but I could see no reason why I shouldn't do it.  I saw the poverty in Haiti also. I saw the beautiful countryside. I chose to show the people I had contact with. Most of these were at Carnival time and the people were happy. There is only one photo without people .. it's an old rum factory.....reminds me of a group of people!
