Hello, and yes I'm back again. I will at times try to amuse myself and
others by putting some jazz on this site. It's always been a losing proposition
but hey, I don't do this for the bread. I do it for fame, nah. I just got
nothing else to do with myself. I guess I can think about politics but I don't
give a crap about taxes which seems to be making everybody crazy. I'm not
opposed to putting money into education and social services which makes me a
pariah in a State that has human demolition ball as a governor. Oh well,
all of this shall pass which is a clever segue into my jazz theme for the tunes
I loaded in this time. I call it the "Rapture Suite". All the tunes
have been written to include a chorus, the singing kind in addition to the
soloists. You might say aarrrgh before you hear them and you might say ugh after
but there is some good blowing which might make it worthwhile.
By the way, thanks for the memories.

THE BLINDFOLD TEST
Sort of a blindfold test. Because these things are not the norm
in a jazz setting some of you might have heard them and discarded them already.
I'll give a brief description to maybe stoke some interest and make them sound
palatable. Or maybe mysterious enough to give them a listen. Who knows? You
might find something you like.
Track 1 In addition to
the choral noise there is a crackling tenor sax solo. Hot stuff! Good rhythm
section also.
Track 2 Some slow
roots but again, good playing and moody.
Track 3 Aha! No choral
stuff but the tune is church-like and has a bible sounding title. Good composer,
good arranger, etc.
Track 4 Ad lib choral
noise at the beginning (sounds like an opera warm-up in a toilet) but jumps into
a beautiful trumpet solo.
Track 5 Effortless
alto playing with a straight ahead choral scene.
Track 6 This was
written to be sacred. Interesting!
Track 7 Should be
familiar. Was probably aired more than the others.
That's it for all you finger-poppin' daddies.
Please remember that there are many music tracks on this page
so loading depends on your band with. Have a little patience -- they will load!
As I mentioned above the FORUM is open for your
convenience.
